SR Loves: Bobbi Brown’s New Limited Edition Palate

September 29th, 2010 by admin

School is well under way and we wanted to highlight Wilmette native Bobbi Brown’s limited edition Beauty Rules Face Palate. With homecoming just around the corner for high schoolers, this palate will give girls a sweet and fresh look for the first school dance of the year. In celebration of her new book for teens and twenties, Beauty Rules, Bobbi designed this limited edition palette of edgy but totally wearable eye, lip and cheek colors. $45, bobbibrowncosmetics.com

Also look forward to our interview with Bobbi Brown which will appear online exclusively next week!

September 23rd, 2010 by admin

Today marks the first full day of fall. Though it may not feel particularly autumnal, we wanted to highlight two of the season’s most important events. With the temperatures expected to cool down this weekend, it certainly will be the perfect weather for both of these fabulous outdoor events!

SR Loves: Marc Jacobs + Moleskin + Barneys

September 22nd, 2010 by admin

Being the dorky journalists we are, we love anything involving good paper and a nice binding. Combine that with fashion and you have one of the greatest paper products ever made. In honor of Barneys CO-OP’s 25th anniversary, Marc Jacobs and Moleskin worked on a limited edition notebook featuring a modern pattern specially styled by the fashion designer. With the design silkscreened on the cover and reproduced inside, it makes an awesome fashion statement. It will be available for $29.99 beginning October 1 at Barneys (15 East Oak Street in Chicago, 312-587-1700) and Co-OP (2209-11 North Halsted Street in Chicago, 773-248-0426).
