In an effort to raise funds for The Koon’s Family Institute, Kiehl’s, the premium hair and skin care provider, has partnered with world-renowned contemporary artist Jeff Koons to create the ultimate skin indulgence – the new Limited Edition Creme de Corps Holiday collection. Embellished with the breathtaking oil on canvas artwork of TULIPS, the Creme de Corp Body Moisturizer and the Creme de Corp Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter (pictured) contain nourishing essentials, which leave your skin luxuriantly soft and smooth.

Kiehl’s will donate all proceeds from the collection up to $200,000 to The Koons Family Institute, a program under the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC). Founded in 1997, the ICMEC works to protect children from abduction and exploitation around the world. After his own son was abducted, Jeff Koons began working with the ICMEC to develop The Koons Family Institute, which also aims to end child trafficking and child pornography. Now residing in New York City, Jeff is an internationally acclaimed artist; he is best known for his celebrated sculptures, such as Rabbit (1992) and Split-Rocker (2000), the latter of which was installed at the Palace of Versailles in 2008.

With the purchase of a Limited Edition Crème de Corps Holiday product, you can be confident that you are making a difference in the lives of children around the world – as well as receiving a top-notch gift for yourself or a loved one.

MAZE Home Store in Winnetka will welcome renowned Swedish interior designer Lars Bolander for a book signing event this Thursday from 10 to 5, celebrating his recently published second book, Scandinavian Design. Home decor enthusiasts are invited to explore the unique style of Lars’ exceptional interior designs. Be sure to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, as this special occasion will be Lars’ only tour appearance in Chicago.

With a strongly original sense of style, Lars began his education at the Stockholm School of Art before learning directly from Carl Malmsten, the prominent creator of Scandinavian Design. As his passion for interior design began to flourish, Lars studied under Gaby Schreiber before working many years for Gunter Sachs. With experience developing designs internationally, Lars, along with his wife Nadine Kalachnikoff, started a retail antique business in East Hampton, New York in 1987. Now with two locations – in New York and Palm Beach, Florida – Lars’ interior design business continues to thrive.

Catering to affluent clients around the world, Lars’ style is at once sophisticated and diverse. Inspired by Scandinavian influences, his work often emphasizes well-defined lines, subtle color themes, naturally-lit places, and pure materials. Written with former House & Garden magazine editor Heather Smith MacIsaac, his book is a compilation of distinctive and graceful Scandinavian home design ideas. Whether you’re looking to redecorate an entire room or to simply integrate a few Scandinavian elements into your home, the book features expert advice on how to revamp your decor.

MAZE Home Store is located at 735 Elm Street in Winnetka. For more information or to order autographed books as holiday gifts, call 847-441-1115. To learn more about Lars Bolander and his work, visit larsbolander.com.—Jenna Schubert
